ASAX Innovation Heads to Ukraine with 2 Evacuation UGVs

Today, the ASAX team departed to train their Ukrainian partners and to introduce the Estonian UGV to a couple of Ukrainian units. A UGV boom has quietly begun in Ukraine, with several different machines making their way to the battlefield. Preliminary information suggests that at this stage, abandoning the electric motor is a good idea, as it brings down the cost. More detailed information about the trip will be available after the meetings have taken place.
The main news so far is the completion of the next-generation UGV, the Asax Hundu 1-2. Based on feedback from Spring Storm and Ukrainian partners, several improvements were immediately made to our machine’s design, primarily enhancing its off-road capabilities. The wheels are slightly bigger, the ground clearance is higher, and some adjustments were made to the drive system.
In the accompanying test video, you can see that the dual control system has been retained, allowing the UGV to be easily controlled even while sitting inside the vehicle.

There are also plans to integrate Asax platform with other weapons systems.
